Water Treatment Plant, Yenagoa, Bayelsa State, Nigeria
Client: Skippers Fast Food
Skippers is a rapidly growing fast-food chain developing and opening outlets mainly in the South-South region of Nigeria, and has just completed an outlet in Yenagoa, the developing capital of Bayelsa State.
Yenagoa is situated in the low-lying Niger Delta where ground water may be brackish, and where fresh usually contains high Iron content, with objectionable appearance and taste.
As good potable water is critical to the food business, Skippers requires a water treatment facility for the outlet with a possibility of packaging water for sale as well.
KEMENG designed, constructed and installed a 5,000litres/hour treatment plant to produce good quality, wholesome potable water from the borehole in the Skippers facility. The plant also incorporates float switches in all relevant tanks to ensure safe, automatic operation of the plant.
